Daegan L. Stallworth, 17, of Ocean Springs was killed in a one-car accident Sunday night, May 13, on Old CCC Camp Road, according to the Ocean Springs Police Department.
Two passengers were taken to Ocean Springs Hospital by Acadian Emergency Services. They have been identified as Chase Braddock, 19, and a 17-year-old female, whom police did not name because she is a minor.
Braddock is listed in fair condition at Ocean Springs Hospital, according to a spokesperson with Singing River Health System.
Stallworth was wearing a seatbelt, and the two passengers were not, Detective Lt. John Flowers said. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:44 p.m. from head trauma, according to Jackson County Coroner Vicki Broadus. Funeral arrangements are being made at Bradford-O’Keefe Funeral Home in Ocean Springs, she said.
