A teen died in a vehicle wreck Wednesday afternoon on US Highway 521 in Williamsburg County, officials say.

The incident happened around 5:15 pm Wednesday, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Vernell Fulton, the Williamsburg County Deputy Coroner, confirmed that Rhyadric Nakylin Graham, 19, died in the wreck at US 521 and Horseshoe Road, which is about 10 miles southeast of Kingstree.

Graham, of Salters, served as a motor transport operator in the South Carolina National Guard, according to his Facebook page. He was a freshman at Williamsburg Technical College where he was studying to be a welder and auto mechanic.

His hobbies were to hunt and “hang out with my best buddies in the world,” he wrote.

On Wednesday night, friends on Facebook were mourning Graham’s loss.

“Heaven has gained a great angel today. I never thought I’d see the day I’d have to say goodbye to a good friend,” wrote one of his many friends, Brandon McGee. “Rhyadric you will be missed by many… You were a good friend.”

Samuels Funeral Home of North Church Street in Manning will be handling funeral arrangements.
