About Me
Hi everyone! I am starting this blog/column as a resource for teens and parents to find news stories, tributes, memorials, and links to assist teens and parents during times of tragedy, turmoil, and loss. A little bit about myself: I am 31 years old and I have been a teacher for seven years! My name in fact, is not Andre, it’s Rob (my dog is named Andre). On this blog, I will be posting articles, links, and news stories for teens to gain information or assistance in times of turmoil, loss, or tragedy. I will also post resources and phone numbers for you to contact if you are in need of serious intervention.

Thank you for posting Austin Erlanger’s story. Wanted to let you know there is another article about him in the Hometown News newspaper written by his father. The website is hometownnewsol.com. We are trying to make something positive come out of this tragedy by getting the message out there to teenagers and young people to always “Make The Right Choice”.
Thank you so much for your kind words. Your comment is an inspiration to me to keep doing what I’m doing. Austin has been one of the most popular search terms that my site has featured. I will definitely do a follow-up feature post with the new article. I am terribly sorry for your loss. I believe you are doing the right thing by trying to influence teenagers to make positive choices. Many teenagers only think twice about their actions when a tragedy such as this hits too close to home. I strongly believe that Austin’s story will help save lives.
Thank you,
Rob

My pleasure, if I can help in any other way, let me know. My site has been generating a lot of traffic, so I would be glad to help spread the word.
Thanks again,
Rob
I would like to say thank you for posting about Madison Anger, the teen from Cheatham County. I go to the same school as she did, although I was a freshmen when the accident happened. The 2011 – 2012 School was tough for the school as a family due to the fact that we had a Senior commit suicide due to bullying about his sexuality. So, having Madison die was another tough thing our school had to go through. I was fortunate enough to be in band and get to talk to her a couple of times. I kind of admired her a little bit, she was always so bubbly and had a huge smile on her face. She would sometimes come to visit the Band before or after Practice. She was also a bit of an actress too, played a role as a teacher in the Fall 2011 school play. But, she’s definitely someone the school will miss.
Thanks again for posting about her.
Sincerely,
Katheryn
